I Am Back!

I am back from my holidays! Feel rested and recharged. But knowing my job, I will lose all these energy within the first day I return back to work.

Holiday

I will be going to Perth for a week and half holiday. Yes, yes, I will be spending National Day away from Singapore. So, shoot me.

It has been a year since the last time I visited Perth. I missed my dog a lot. The last time I saw him was last year when all of us went down south of Perth to Margaret River and Albany for a holiday.

I saw the doctor yesterday for a slight case of flu. As part of the routine checkup, my blood pressure was taken. My blood pressure went down slightly, from a 145/90 last year, to a 140/100 yesterday. However, it is still high. The doctor put me on a course of new generation of high blood pressure medicine, which supposedly has no side effects. I will give it a try and then decide if I should continue with it. It is depressing to hear from him that prolong high blood pressure actually causes stroke, and kidney failure. He was saying that out of 10 patients in Singapore who needs kidney dialysis, 4 of them were due to high blood pressure. I guess I should really seriously watch my diet, lower my salt intake and start exercising!

On a lighter side, I manage to dig up some nice photos that I took from my trip to Perth last year. The last picture is a picture of my dog. Isn't he a handsome and charming little devil?
